Student Success Advisor

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic advising and personalized support to students to ensure successful program completion
• Maintain accurate records of student advising interactions and monitor outcomes
• Identify students needing additional assistance and implement intervention strategies
• Facilitate student engagement through workshops, orientations, and activities
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to address student needs and retention strategies
• Aid students in accessing campus resources such as tutoring, counseling, and career services

Requirements

• Experience in academic advising, student support, or related roles; experience in beauty education is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse student population
• Ability to identify student challenges and develop appropriate support plans
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to student success
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Pay

Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.

Schedule

• 3 days a week, 8:30-5:00pm CST
• 2 days a week, 11:00-8:00pm CST
