Student Recruiter (Fall)

Employment is for the Fall semester only. Student may be continued to Spring semester pending evaluation. Application review will begin on September 8, 2026.

About the role

The Gallogly College of Engineering has a robust outreach and recruitment strategy, and Student Recruiters are a key element of this plan.

Responsibilities

• Lead tours for prospective students and their families
• Assist with the coordination, logistics, and execution of on-campus and off-campus outreach and recruitment events
• Assist student services staff with various duties including:
  • preparing correspondence
  • greeting and assisting students, faculty, and visitors
  • answering phones
  • filing
  • updating contact databases
  • data entry
  • making copies
  • other general office support
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in the Fall Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status
• Undergraduate Student Majoring in the Gallogly College of Engineering
• Hiring contingent upon a background check

Qualifications

• Not graduating in December 2026, May or December 2027
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

Targeted salary: $13.00 per hour based on experience
