AlphaSense removes uncertainty from decision-making for the world’s most sophisticated companies through market intelligence and search built on proven AI. Our platform delivers insights from a universe of public and private content—equity research, company filings, event transcripts, expert calls, news, trade journals, and clients’ own research. Following the 2024 acquisition of Tegus, AlphaSense and Tegus now offer even more comprehensive insights from thousands of content sets. Trusted by over 6,000 enterprise customers, including a majority of the S&P 500, AlphaSense was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in New York City with more than 2,000 employees across the U.S., U.K., Finland, India, Singapore, Canada, and Ireland.

About the Team

AlphaSense Marketing is a revenue-focused team encompassing demand generation, product marketing, corporate communications, PR/AR, brand, customer marketing, content marketing, and experience marketing. The team drives AlphaSense’s growth by contributing to pipeline and revenue, developing a widely recognized brand, and fostering user engagement both within the product and with the brand. The Student Program, one of the team’s highest-conviction long-term pipeline investments, provides complimentary platform access to students at 30+ leading MBA programs and financial education organizations, building relationships with the next generation of buy-side professionals before they enter the workforce. This role owns the program end-to-end.

About the Role

AlphaSense is seeking a strategic, organized, and commercially minded Student Program Manager to own and grow the AlphaSense Student Program. This new role transitions program ownership from Strategic Initiatives to Marketing, evolving it from a well-built foundation into a fully operational growth channel. You will manage day-to-day operations, including school relationships, user activations and deactivations, partnership agreements, and building a student communications infrastructure. You will also collaborate with Demand Generation and Sales to develop the post-graduation pipeline, converting today’s students into tomorrow’s enterprise customers.

The ideal candidate has experience managing university or professional community partnerships in a B2B or SaaS environment, is comfortable working across Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and CS stakeholders, and understands the long-cycle, relationship-first nature of building a talent and pipeline program. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Marketing Programs, this role is ideal for a program manager with 5-8 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Program Operations
    • Own the end-to-end student activation and deactivation cycle, coordinating with Revenue Operations to ensure new cohorts are provisioned each semester and graduating classes are deactivated on schedule.
    • Serve as the primary point of coordination with RevOps for all student account activity, submitting activation batches, tracking ticket status, and escalating issues.
    • Maintain SFDC data integrity for all student users, ensuring Pilot and Division fields are accurate and up to date, and working with RevOps to correct data issues promptly.
    • Document and continuously improve the activation process, including edge cases and escalation paths, to ensure the workflow is captured in writing and any team member could run it independently.
  • School & Partner Relationships
    • Serve as the primary AlphaSense point of contact for all 30+ approved institutions, including MBA programs, investment clubs, and financial education organizations.
    • Build and maintain a school-by-school relationship map: key contacts, cohort timelines, sensitivities, and relationship history.
    • Work with Customer Success and Marketing to execute outreach to onboard new schools, using a defined eligibility framework to prioritize target institutions.
    • Manage relationships with financial education and professional training partners and identify new partnership opportunities with organizations focused on institutional investment professionals.
  • Legal & Agreements
    • Drive completion of the partnership agreement process with all active schools, ensuring every institution has a signed agreement or approved terms of use on file.
    • Coordinate DocuSign outreach and follow-up with school contacts, working with Legal to resolve any outstanding objections.
    • Ensure all new schools are onboarded with a signed agreement as a prerequisite for access.
  • Student Communications & Nurture
    • Work with Customer Marketing to build and manage the student communications calendar: welcome messages, mid-term engagement nudges, and off-boarding sequences for graduating cohorts.
    • Collaborate with Demand Generation to develop the post-graduation outreach sequence, bridging student access to commercial conversations for graduates joining target firms.
    • Work with Sales leadership to define and implement the SDR handoff protocol for graduating students.
    • Promote AlphaSenseIQ and other self-serve training resources to maximize student engagement and platform adoption.
  • Strategy, Reporting & Growth
    • Own the program scorecard and track active user rates, engagement depth, partnership coverage, and post-graduation conversion metrics.
    • Present program performance to Marketing and Sales leadership on a regular basis.
    • Work with RevOps to solve the SFDC graduate tracking challenge: linking student email addresses to commercial contacts once graduates join target firms.
    • Lead the program strategy, including recommendations on geography expansion and new partnership categories.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in program management, partnership management, or university relations in a B2B SaaS or financial services environment.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, comfortable building trust with academic administrators, club leaders, and professional training organizations.
  • Strong operational instincts: ability to document processes, manage ticketing workflows, and maintain data hygiene in a CRM without needing to be asked.
  • Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM; comfortable working with data to track program health and report on outcomes.
  • Commercially minded: you understand this is a pipeline program, not just a community program, and are motivated by conversion metrics as much as relationships.
  • Excellent written communication skills; able to write clear, on-brand student-facing copy and crisp internal reports.
  • Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity: this role inherits a well-documented foundation but requires significant independent build in the first 6–12 months.
  • Familiarity with financial services, investment management, or buy-side research is a strong plus.

Pay

Base compensation range: $116,000—$145,000 USD. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may include a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.
