Responsibilities

• Practice professional nursing under the direct supervision of a licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse (supervision requires physical presence in the practice area or unit).
• Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process and within the scope of practice as defined by the state board of nursing and organizational policies.
• Provide care to assigned patients and collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Communicate changes in the patient’s clinical condition to the supervising licensed nurse and physician, including vital signs, cardiac monitoring, diagnostic results, and related symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
• Document all relevant data in the electronic medical record.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) preferred.

Schedule

Full Time, Day Shift.
