Intern Nurse - Med/Surg

About the role

Provides technical assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse for a specific group of patients to ensure quality outcomes. Delivers service functions and effective communication to staff, patients, and visitors. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients under the guidance of a registered nurse.
• Contributes to developing and implementing a personalized care plan.
• Executes and evaluates the care plan in collaboration with the registered nurse.
• Assists with patient care and supports nursing staff.
• Participates in activities aimed at improving healthcare delivery.
• Builds clinical leadership knowledge and engages in continuous education.
• Completes assigned goals effectively.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a registered nursing program awaiting licensure; 90-day maximum in the Nurse Intern II role.
• Computer literacy required.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire preferred.
