About the Role
As the Student Life Administrative Coordinator, you will support activities related to the Full-Time MBA Programs' (FTMBA) Student Life team, including front desk coverage, organization and cleanliness of the FTMBA suite, and general administrative support. You will provide event support for FTMBA and Student Life events, including room and hotel reservations, reimbursement processing, catering, and material orders, as well as on-site support such as check-in and room set-up. You will report directly to the Associate Director of Student Life.
This is an onsite position based in Ann Arbor, MI. The role may require occasional work outside standard business hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain that authorization throughout employment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate administrative and logistical support for FTMBA student clubs, conferences, case competitions, and other student-led activities.
- Support major student and community events, including orientation, commencement, workshops, and conferences, by coordinating rooms, catering, materials, transportation, parking, permits, hotel blocks, and other event needs.
- Provide on-site event support, including room setup, attendee check-in, and coordination with Ross Operations, Ross IT, vendors, and other campus partners.
- Manage event-related purchases, catering orders, materials, invoices, and reconciliation across applicable program shortcodes.
- Provide daily front desk coverage for the FTMBA Program Office by greeting visitors, answering general questions, and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Monitor and respond to the FTMBA Program Office email account and assist with general administrative support, including scheduling, reservations, and catering.
- Maintain organized, welcoming shared office spaces and provide logistical support for FTMBA Admissions events, both on campus and virtually.
Requirements
- High school education and 1+ years of related administrative or customer service experience.
- Experience working with students or similar groups.
- Experience handling confidential information according to specified confidentiality guidelines.
- Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Suites plus email and calendar-keeping technologies.

Pay
The salary offer range for this position is $42,000 to $49,400. Salary offers are determined based on several factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, along with internal equity considerations.
