Targeted salary of $9.00 per hour, based on education and experience. Work schedule: 8:00 AM–10:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday, and 8:00 AM–8:00 PM on Saturdays.
About the role
OU Information Technology is seeking a dedicated and responsible Student Lab Assistant to join our team at the Sandra L. O’Brien Collaborative Learning Hub, located in Collings Hall within the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education. The successful candidate will be part of a team providing comprehensive support to students, faculty, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage the checkout process for items available for loan.
- Deliver printing and technology sharing support.
- Assist with providing basic, first-level technical support, including helping users with routine troubleshooting for accounts, software, and devices.
- Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate IT staff.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in the Fall Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma (hiring contingent upon verification of current student status).
- Ability to start work in August 2026, work throughout all of Fall 2026, and into Spring 2027 is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer service experience.
- Experience working in a technical environment.
