About the role
Performs as Processor and Specimen Receipt.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process patient specimens following established protocol
- Answer phone calls, call results and panic values
- Use laboratory information system to enter test requests, retrieve data, print worksheets, etc.
- Complete multiple tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements
- Student in Medical Technology or related discipline
- Matriculated student enrolled in a college or university
Schedule
2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday
