Student Graphic Designer
About the role
The Southern Regional Extension Forestry Office (SREF), located in the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, is seeking a student graphic designer to join the team. In this role, you'll work on a variety of creative projects and build hands-on experience designing publications, websites, fact sheets, marketing materials, and more.
Responsibilities
- Create multi-concept diagrams, banners and marketing materials – 50%
- Design & redesign partner websites – 40%
- Social Media Posting – 10%
Requirements
- Proficient in InDesign and Illustrator (or in-training)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Work independently and communicate effectively with partners
- Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position
- Work collaboratively with the SREF team on projects such as:
- Create multi-concept diagrams
- Create banners and marketing materials
- Design & redesign partner websites
- Light Social Media Posting
- Computer work
- Lifting of printed materials
