The Student Accounts department at the University at Buffalo is seeking a Senior Staff Assistant to handle various reporting duties.

Responsibilities

• Receive and coordinate requests for access to Student Financials information
• Maintain and monitor security access list for internal/external users
• Modify role or row access as needed
• Troubleshoot access issues
• Create and utilize queries and reports to provide data for surveys, ad hoc requests, and departments
• Understand and become a subject matter expert of third‑party vendor Nelnet
• Troubleshooting issues
• Configuration
• Review and analyze reports followed by outreach to payers
• Testing
• Train new Student Financials users depending on their role in PeopleSoft
• Service Indicator (holds) management within PeopleSoft
• Analysis of holds on accounts in order to make decisions
• Cross train on key tasks within the office—billing, communications, fee assessment, item type creation, upgrade testing, late fees
• Assist with website maintenance
