STUDENT - Financial Control Analyst

About the role

The Finance Analyst is responsible for compiling, structuring, and analyzing finance data, policies, and procedures to help streamline processes and make data‑driven decisions. They play a crucial role in supporting finance operations, reporting, and procedures through technological tools and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collect data from systems and internal parties
• Analyze reports and provide recommendations
• Create process maps
• Create or update Standard Operating Procedures
• Prepare clear, readable reports of findings and present recommendations to finance leaders
• Support ad‑hoc projects for both internal and external parties
• Prepare and present key analysis, trends, and recommendations to management and senior management
• Identify automation or improvement opportunities
• Identify and implement technology utilization

Requirements

• Must be a student of Finance, Business Management, Mathematics, or Accounting
• Looking for a systems‑oriented student
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Studies in Maritime, Supply Chain, or Logistics are a plus
• Master’s students are encouraged to apply

Schedule

Must be able to commit to 20 hours per week, on‑site, during normal business hours.
