Student Employee position within the Department of Accounting. Hours per week and pay rate: $10.00. Preferred student classification: Junior or Senior.
About the role
Provide tutoring services to students enrolled in Intermediate Accounting I (ACCT 3313), Intermediate Accounting II (ACCT 3314), Federal Taxation Concepts (ACCT 3353), or Cost Accounting (ACCT 3347) courses for Fall 2025. Coordinate tutoring plans and topics with professors teaching the course.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions
- Lead group-study sessions
- Develop and utilize online study games
- Create study guides
- Tutor students both in person and online
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
