About the role
The Stacks Management Team provides accurate, managed items that are easily accessible to users of Bizzell Memorial Library and its collections.
Responsibilities
- Shelving books
- Picking up books left out of place
- Measuring incoming and outgoing materials
- Shelf reads, straightening, and dusting materials
- Assisting patrons looking for books and referring other questions to library and university departments
- Searching for missing books
- Shifting portions of the collection
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 term as an undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma.
- Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Class schedule must be provided.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Background check not required.

Pay
Targeted salary of $10.00 hourly, based on education and experience.

Schedule
Varies, 10-20 hours per week.
