Student Conduct Coordinator

About the role

The Student Conduct Coordinator will help undergraduate and graduate students meet the community standards of Illinois State University by participating in the administration of the student conduct process and supporting Student Conduct programs, outreach, assessment, and other services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a conduct case manager for issues of academic and social misconduct.
• Gather and consider information, determine responsibility for possible violations, and apply outcomes for students in accordance with the Code of Student Conduct.
• Use a high level of discretion to help resolve complex, sensitive matters that often involve multiple departments and have a potentially high impact on students' enrollment, university standing, personal wellness, and finances.
• Educate the university community on student policy compliance and expectations.
• Act as a role model for students and represent the Office of Student Conduct and the university in a positive and professional manner.
