About the role

Responsibilities
- Oversee research projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, data scientists, and clinicians to develop innovative solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external funding agencies and industry partners to secure continued support for research initiatives.
- Train and mentor junior researchers, providing guidance on methodologies and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Conduct regular progress reviews and provide feedback to ensure project milestones are met.
Requirements
- A PhD in a relevant field such as biology, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven track record of successful leadership in a research environment.
- Experience in securing grants and contracts to fund research projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
