Job Title: Coordinator Student Conduct & CARE

Primary Responsibilities

  • Aid in managing the CARE caseload, offering support to students facing behavioral issues or obstacles.
  • Conduct background and conduct checks for both internal and external entities.
  • Support the Assistant Director in implementing Student Absence policies, the Student Relief Fund, and the Late Withdrawal Process.
  • Participate in the CARE Team in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director.
  • Collaborate with other offices on student programs, community building, and leadership development.
  • Develop and deliver educational outreach and training sessions on reporting pathways, CARE Team, and conduct-related information.
  • Present classroom lectures to faculty, staff, and students about office services and resources.
  • Represent the office on various committees and initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Two years’ experience in student conduct, behavioral intervention, or student advising.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational, task management, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Computer literacy and experience with databases.
  • The ability to manage tasks efficiently and maintain accurate records.
  • Knowledge of student development theory and relevant laws such as the Clery Act, Title IX, and FERPA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree, especially in higher education, student affairs, or related fields.
  • Experience in student affairs, particularly knowledge of student development theory and applicable laws.
