About the role

This program prepares individuals for a rewarding career as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) at NHC HealthCare Greenville.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under supervision
• Assist patients with daily living activities
• Monitor patients' health status and report changes to supervising nurses
• Follow infection control protocols

Requirements

• No absences or tardies allowed during the 18-day program
• Maintain a minimum grade of 80 to remain enrolled
• Scrubs must be provided by the student before clinicals
• No facial piercings (except earrings for female students)

Qualifications

• Valid photo identification
• Social Security card
• Criminal background check
• Review of the South Carolina and/or National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults

Skills

• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Basic computer literacy

Benefits

• CNA's at NHC Greenville start at $16.50 per hour

Pay

• $16.50 per hour

Schedule

• Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM OR 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
