About the role

This Student Worker position supports application development projects by creating and maintaining user help documentation, documenting business processes, and assisting with testing new application functionality. It provides hands-on experience in software development, business analysis, technical writing, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update user guides, training materials, and process documentation.
  • Test new applications, features, and system updates to verify functionality and identify potential issues.
  • Document test results, report defects, and assist with tracking issues through resolution.
  • Review existing documentation and recommend updates or improvements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Interest in application development, business analysis, technical documentation, or software testing.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
