Student Associate - DTS Electronic Classroom Support

Primary Duties
- Provide 1st tier user phone/remote/in-person support for classrooms supported by ECSS.
- Aid with classroom checklist procedures.
- Assist with troubleshooting and replacement of AV/IT equipment.
- Perform tasks assigned by supervisors.
- Participate in room system and equipment upgrades under the guidance of the AV install team.
- Offer in-person orientations for end users.
- Carry out a range of administrative, operational, or program support tasks as directed by the department.
- Support daily office or departmental activities such as data entry, filing, customer service, and communications.
- Contribute to departmental projects, events, and initiatives that enhance university programs or community engagement.
- Operate standard office equipment and software applications as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of student, departmental, and institutional information in accordance with university policies.
- Display professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to providing quality service.
- Perform related duties as assigned by the department based on departmental needs.
Minimum Requirements
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Basic IT Knowledge
- High School Diploma or GED
- Enrolled at a post-secondary institution or a secondary school
- Enrolled at least part-time (one or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution), except for summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic term
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- “Enrollment” includes:The period between two successive terms for which the student is enrolled.The one “off” term in each academic year in which the student is not enrolled.
Physical Requirements
