Student Assistant- Tech Advancement

About the role
The Tech Advancement Student Assistant (TASA) works directly for the Career Services department to manage advancements related to software, AI, and other technology initiatives. The role involves developing AI initiatives, implementing and marketing software, training students and staff, and supporting other technology projects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage the marketing and usage of existing and new software and technology initiatives.
- Assist in the implementation of new software.
- Train students and staff on software and technology initiatives.
- Develop AI-specific initiatives for the department.
- Support other technology initiatives as determined by the Director.
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and completed at least one term as a student at SFBU.
- High level of technology experience, including the ability to understand and manage software.
- High level of AI experience, including agentic creation and execution.
- Excellent public speaking, organization, and project management skills.
- Customer service orientation, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to serve as a role model and mentor to other students.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
Pay
Student Employees are paid on an hourly basis at a rate of $20/hour. This position is not eligible for benefits.
