Student - Technician Assistant

Position Announcement Utah Valley University is seeking a student to work under the direction of a lead technician. The student will assist with carpet extraction, furniture moves and installing fixtures. Summary Of Responsibilities Responsible for a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to: Extraction of carpetsCleaning of hard floorsFurniture extraction Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications Must be a current UVU student.Ability to lift 50 pounds Comfortable on lifts and laddersAbility to twist, turn, kneel and crouch for 4 hours Preferred Qualifications Experience with hand tools, power tools, and flooring equipment Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAssist with moves, minors repairs, and instillationsAbility to be on feet, move, bend, and walk for the duration of shiftAbility to stay on task.
