Job Duties
- Monitor Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for positive mentions of Del Mar College and posts appropriate for re-posting and/or re-tweeting positive references to Del Mar College and Del Mar Alumni.
- Alert the Office of Development/Foundation Team of negative situations or inaccurate comments.
- Research student stories for professional retelling.
- Update Twitter daily.
- Update and post to Facebook daily.
- Post to Instagram daily.
- Create graphics and content for social media.
- Capture images with phone and camera
- Research topics and produce Facebook, Twitter and Instagram messages for official Del Mar College Foundation social media outlets, under the direction of the Office of Development/Foundation professionals.
Qualifications
Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.
Skills
- Strong typing and computer skills.
- Excellent people and communication skills.
- Ability to take creative direction, incorporating the College’s and Office of Development and Foundation’s best interests with regards to finished products.
- Dependable in the use of the College’s equipment, procedures and processes.
- Reliable in completing assigned projects in a polished and timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
