Job Duties

  • Monitor Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for positive mentions of Del Mar College and posts appropriate for re-posting and/or re-tweeting positive references to Del Mar College and Del Mar Alumni.
  • Alert the Office of Development/Foundation Team of negative situations or inaccurate comments.
  • Research student stories for professional retelling.
  • Update Twitter daily.
  • Update and post to Facebook daily.
  • Post to Instagram daily.
  • Create graphics and content for social media.
  • Capture images with phone and camera
  • Research topics and produce Facebook, Twitter and Instagram messages for official Del Mar College Foundation social media outlets, under the direction of the Office of Development/Foundation professionals.

Qualifications

Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.

Skills

  • Strong typing and computer skills.
  • Excellent people and communication skills.
  • Ability to take creative direction, incorporating the College’s and Office of Development and Foundation’s best interests with regards to finished products.
  • Dependable in the use of the College’s equipment, procedures and processes.
  • Reliable in completing assigned projects in a polished and timely manner.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
