STUDENT ASSISTANT - ART GALLERY MONITOR POOL

About the role

To provide support to the Joseph A. Cain Gallery and Art Department by monitoring gallery visitors, maintaining gallery conditions, and assisting with exhibitions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all gallery visitors as they view the exhibitions and ensure conditions prevent damage to artworks.
• Maintain cleanliness in the gallery.
• Keep a daily count of visitors.
• Assist with exhibition mailers.
• Assist the Gallery Director as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an art gallery.
