Student Assistant - Art Gallery Monitor (Grant-Funded) Pool

Job Duties

• Maintaining cleanliness in the gallery.
• Keeping a daily count of visitors.
• Assisting with exhibition mailers.
• Assisting the Gallery Director as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• A current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an art gallery.

About the Role

To provide support to the Joseph A. Cain Gallery and Art Department. This is accomplished by the following:

• Monitoring all gallery visitors as they view the exhibitions in the gallery.
• Maintaining conditions in the gallery to prevent damage to artworks.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the gallery.
• Keeping a daily count of visitors.
• Assisting with exhibition mailers.
• Assisting the Gallery Director as needed.

Qualifications

Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.
