About the role
Haley Ward is seeking a Structural Project Manager for their Bangor, ME office. This position involves planning, organizing, designing, and controlling projects to ensure successful completion within established schedules, budgets, and QA/QC policies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage project proposal development through planning, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, and construction.
- Supervise, coordinate, and review work of engineers, technicians, and designers.
- Manage projects, oversee, and delegate tasks, and engage in the design of projects.
- Engineer building design projects from concept to substantial completion using steel, wood, and concrete.
- Promote new business for the total company and for own area of expertise.
- Prepare agreements including scope, schedule, work plan, fees, and monitor financial performance of projects.
- Cultivate personal business relationships and seek opportunities for cross-selling to enhance and expand existing client relationships during and after projects.
Requirements
- A BS in Civil Engineering preferred, with other disciplines considered with relevant experience.
- An advanced degree or significant experience in project management is desirable.
- A minimum of 10 years of related industry experience is preferred.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in ME is preferred.
- Sound mathematical skills are required.
- A working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Leadership acumen is essential.
