Structural Project Manager

About the role

We are an industry leader providing structural steel and precast concrete construction solutions for complex commercial and industrial projects. We are seeking a Senior Structural Project Manager with expertise in structural steel erection, precast concrete construction, and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural steel and precast concrete projects from preconstruction planning through project completion
• Cook up construction logistics including crane operations, equipment mobilization, foundation requirements, sequencing, and site readiness
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, general contractors, and field teams to optimize constructability and project execution
• Manage project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, contract administration, and project reporting
• Provide leadership to superintendents, foremen, and project teams to ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are achieved
• Maintain project risks, resolve field issues, maintain compliance with project specifications, and drive successful project outcomes

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing structural steel, miscellaneous metals, or precast concrete construction projects
• Strong knowledge of structural steel erection practices, precast installation methods, AISC standards, and AWS standards
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and engineering documents
• Experience with project scheduling, cost management, subcontractor coordination, and construction project controls
• Proficiency with MS Project, Tekla Power Fab, or similar construction management and BIM platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience
