Structural Engineer - Ports & Maritime

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the management and direction of projects
  • Create complete sets of structural drawings and technical specifications independently
  • Train and mentor Engineers-In-Training (EITs) in structural engineering
  • Carry out structural design calculations, oversee project document preparation, and maintain a Quality Control program
  • Participate in construction phase tasks for building projects in structural engineering
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and design team members during meetings and presentations
  • Identify potential project opportunities through networking

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of relevant engineering design experience
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) License or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup for drawing and detail creation
  • Experience with structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, RAM, E-Tabs, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT, and others
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective communicator and team player with a focus on personal and professional development
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
