Responsibilities
- Aid in the management and direction of projects
- Create complete sets of structural drawings and technical specifications independently
- Train and mentor Engineers-In-Training (EITs) in structural engineering
- Carry out structural design calculations, oversee project document preparation, and maintain a Quality Control program
- Participate in construction phase tasks for building projects in structural engineering
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and design team members during meetings and presentations
- Identify potential project opportunities through networking
Qualifications
- At least 6 years of relevant engineering design experience
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup for drawing and detail creation
- Experience with structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, RAM, E-Tabs, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT, and others
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective communicator and team player with a focus on personal and professional development
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
