Responsibilities
- Aid in the management and leading of projects
- Create complete sets of structural drawings and technical specifications independently
- Train and mentor Engineers-In-Training (EITs) in structural engineering
- Carry out structural design calculations, organize production activities, and prepare project documentation submission packages, while maintaining a Quality Control program for the entire project
- Support and provide assistance during the construction phase of building projects in structural engineering
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and design team members in meetings and presentations
- Identify project opportunities through networking with new and existing clients
Qualifications
- At least 6 years of relevant engineering design experience
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup for drawing and detail creation
- Knowledge and experience in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, RAM, E-Tabs, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT, and other relevant tools
- A strong sense of urgency and self-discipline to meet client deadlines
- A detail-oriented team player with the ability to contribute positively to a work environment
- The capacity to multitask and handle various projects simultaneously
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and technical skills with a continuous focus on personal and staff development
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
Pay
Salary Range: $105k - $130K
