Responsibilities

  • Aid in the management and leading of projects
  • Create complete sets of structural drawings and technical specifications independently
  • Train and mentor Engineers-In-Training (EITs) in structural engineering
  • Carry out structural design calculations, organize production activities, and prepare project documentation submission packages, while maintaining a Quality Control program for the entire project
  • Support and provide assistance during the construction phase of building projects in structural engineering
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and design team members in meetings and presentations
  • Identify project opportunities through networking with new and existing clients

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of relevant engineering design experience
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup for drawing and detail creation
  • Knowledge and experience in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, RAM, E-Tabs, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT, and other relevant tools
  • A strong sense of urgency and self-discipline to meet client deadlines
  • A detail-oriented team player with the ability to contribute positively to a work environment
  • The capacity to multitask and handle various projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and technical skills with a continuous focus on personal and staff development
  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic

Pay

Salary Range: $105k - $130K
