Stroke Coordinator - Full Time

About the role

The Stroke Outreach Coordinator is a registered nurse responsible for developing hospital partnerships, implementing cerebrovascular management pathways, and enhancing stroke care through education, outreach, and data collection within a health system.

Responsibilities

• Participate in regional stroke education and outreach
• Develop community and professional programs
• Support telestroke initiatives
• Serve as a resource during stroke alerts
• Provide patient and family education
• Improve transfer processes and outcomes through data analysis

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or degree
• RN license (single or multi-state)
• BLS certification
• Minimum three years of clinical experience in emergency, critical care, or neurovascular settings

Skills

• Knowledge of stroke protocols and neurovascular terminology
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
