Stroke Coordinator - Full Time

About the role

The Stroke Outreach Coordinator is a registered nurse responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with hospitals and EMS providers, implementing cerebrovascular management pathways, and providing education on stroke care and teleneurology protocols.

Key Duties

• Participate in regional stroke education and outreach
• Develop community and professional programs
• Coordinate public events and support stroke prevention efforts
• Serve as a resource during stroke alerts
• Improve transfer processes and facilitate telestroke services
• Collect and analyze stroke data to enhance quality and performance metrics
• Provide feedback to referring facilities

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience in emergency, critical care, or neurovascular areas
• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Knowledge of stroke programs and neurovascular terminology
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills
