Stroke Coordinator - Full Time

About the role

The Stroke Outreach Coordinator is a registered nurse responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships across hospitals and EMS providers to optimize cerebrovascular care.

Responsibilities

• Implement stroke management pathways
• Provide staff and public education
• Coordinate outreach programs
• Support telestroke services
• Enhance transfer protocols
• Serve as a resource during stroke alerts
• Facilitate data collection for quality improvement
• Participate in professional events and community initiatives

Requirements

• Nursing diploma or degree
• Valid RN license
• BLS certification
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in emergency, critical care, or neurovascular care
• Strong knowledge of stroke protocols and neurovascular terminology
