About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Itinerant String Specialist and Orchestra Teacher for the Cocoa High School Feeder Chain 2026-2027 school year. This position is housed at Cocoa High School.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with music teachers across multiple schools to support student learning in music and string instruction, serving students in Grades 5-12.
• The primary instrument of study for this position is strings.
• Reliable transporation is required in order to travel between school sites.

Qualifications/Certifications

• Must hold valid Florida Teaching Certification in Music K-12.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of strings and orchestra teaching methods.
• Ability to work effectively with students from Grades 5-12.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
