General Purpose
Performs repetitive work-station tasks to produce stringlight assemblies prior to overmolding.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform any assembly-type function, using hand, power tools, small presses and fixtures.
- Manipulate cables and wires while staking/terminating electrical sockets according to specifications.
- Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
- Safely operates any equipment needed to perform job within the assembly.
- Utilize production job schedules, and confer with supervisors/leads, to determine work priorities.
- Refer to engineering documentation such as CAD drawings and manufacturing procedures.
- Record production data such labor time and quantities using ERP system.
- Inform supervisors /leads of equipment malfunctions that need to be addressed.
- Clean and maintain equipment, machinery, and work stations on a daily basis.
- Perform related duties as needed by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Six months previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred.
