Assembler

JFlow Controls is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, with an extensive representative network throughout the U.S. and abroad. We specialize in unique pattern designs with fully traceable raw materials, spectroscopic testing of castings, and numerically controlled machining. All valve components are inspected to international standards after assembly and fully tested to API598. Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and maintain a clean, orderly work area
• Work quickly and neatly while multitasking
• Perform minor maintenance of tools and make minor adjustments to equipment
• Participate and comply with all safety standards and training
• Operate forklifts and other rigging equipment
• Assist in monitoring inventory and physical inventory counts
• Prepare valve assemblies and parts for testing, including driving studs, hand tapping, and general light assembly
• Assist with test setup
• Operate drill presses and hand grinders; use mechanics and hand tools to correct balances and remove excess metal

Work Environment

• Work near moving mechanical parts (15% of work hours)
• Risk of electrical shock (5% of work hours)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of industrial experience
• Experience in valve service, valve automation, or instrumentation is a plus
• Ability to quickly learn technical product information
• Self-starter with initiative to deliver results independently
• Ability to multitask and problem solve
• Proficiency with basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, ratchets, etc.)
