Strengthening Families Facilitator, Consultant, Part-time

About the role

Under the supervision of the Strengthening Families Supervisor and Prevention Supervisor, you will facilitate the Strengthening Families Program curriculum with groups of parents, adolescents, or children, virtually or in person. This is a once-a-week, 14-week program for parents and their children at-risk for substance misuse ages 6-17. The program encourages family bonding by increasing communication skills.

Schedule

4:30 p.m. – 8:45 p.m., part-time evenings (working hours may vary)

Pay

$30.00 per hour

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, psychology, human services, public health, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Teaching or leading groups with stressed families/families in crisis, adults, adolescents, or children is preferred.
• Every facilitator is required to be fingerprinted (expenses covered by the Department of Health).
