Strengthening Families Facilitator, Consultant, Part-time
Nature of Work
Under the supervision of the Strengthening Families Supervisor and Prevention Supervisor, will facilitate the Strengthening Families Program curriculum with groups of parents, adolescents or children, virtually or in person. This is a once-a-week, 14-week program for parents and their children at-risk for substance misuse ages 6-17. The program encourages family bonding by increasing communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, psychology, human services, public health or related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Teaching or leading groups with stressed families/families in crisis, adults, adolescents, or children is preferred.
Notes: Every facilitator is required to get fingerprinted. The Department of Health will cover the expenses).
