Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Remote)

About the role

The Global Strategic Sourcing Machining Commodity is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist position is for an established professional in Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

• Supports the GSS, P&C /GOPS Machining Commodity
• Supports sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature
• Works with Senior/Commodity Managers to implement strategic plan for a commodity or a strategic supplier
• Supports negotiations and administration of contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives
• Analyzes data and information associated with quotes, and supplier cost data to support negotiation strategies

Qualifications

• You Must Have:
• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• U.S. Citizen
• We Prefer:
• Commodity management and sourcing
• Prior experience with Collins’ work transition process
• APICS or ISM certifications
