Job Duties
- Conducts advanced analytics and scenario-based outcome assessments to inform business operations regarding potential Total Cost of Ownership impacts.
- Optimizes product and service expense and pricing, developing and executing negotiation strategies with suppliers, and implementing required contractual agreements for assigned product and service categories.
- Evaluates all contractual agreements, proposals, and negotiates commercial terms, including business risk and adherence to guidelines.
- Monitors post-contract expenses to ensure category/contract compliance, initiating a semi-annual pipeline of savings opportunities through renegotiation, Request for Proposal, consolidation of current spends, and assisting customers with procurement of non-savings related needs.
- Ensures accuracy, data integrity, and validity in all work.
- Develops complex bid solicitations, proposal reviews, and vendor negotiations to optimize contractual terms, including pricing.
- Conducts competitive analysis and independently executes negotiation strategies with suppliers to secure best value for the organization.
- Facilitates Value Analysis meetings as required.
- Builds and maintains relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, team members, and vendor organizations in alignment with a segmented supply strategy and supplier performance management processes.
- Adheres to standard work practices, including standard operating procedures, tools, and timelines to achieve objectives and deliverables within a finite timescale and budget.
About the Role
- Works independently and strategically to identify, project plan, implement and monitor supply chain expense or utilization opportunities to optimize total organizational expenses.
- Collaborates with clinical and operational leadership in a team-based environment to optimize the selection, standardization and utilization of product and services for the organization.
- Operational responsibility in collaboration with Supply Chain subdivisions to ensure that product and services are priced accurately, available timely, carried in the appropriate quantities and locations, and delivered in the most efficient manner to meet patient care needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree.
