Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field (preferred)
• Minimum three (3) years Strategic sourcing experience, preferably in a healthcare setting (required)
• Minimum three (3) years Proven results in previous positions related to project management for Supply Chain Management or healthcare (required)
• Minimum three (3) years GPO contracts, purchasing and vendor product knowledge, preferably in the healthcare field (preferred)

Skills And Abilities

• Ability to gain and maintain positive relationships with staff, clinicians, physicians, suppliers, GPO partners and senior leadership
• Organizational and communication skills to manage independent projects
• Analytical skills necessary to develop and execute a variety of financial and operational analyzes
• Problem solving skills to manage day to day challenges and develop and execute long term improvement
• Computer Skills: Competent in use of Excel, MSWord and ERP and other database programs needed to perform job duties
