Strategic Sourcing Manager, Silicon Operations

About the role
The Amazon Leo team is looking for a Business Operations Manager to support business and engineering stakeholders in selecting, developing, and managing business relationships with critical technology and service suppliers, and others as needed to execute on Amazon Leo objectives. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record developing and executing strategy, and managing supplier performance. Experience working in new and ambiguous environments while solving complex problems with a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders will be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Be the Leader for ASIC Global Business Operations. Develops operations models and oversees supply chain, sales orders, and inventory management.
- Responsible for supply and demand planning, inventory management, material allocations, sales orders, and fulfillment.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to establish wafer and ASIC supply chain processes and the overall structure of the business.
- Lead supply chain and inventory management, setting goals and strategic directions, and driving automation and process improvements.
- Lead and drive operational collaboration with suppliers and internal customers.
- Provide leadership on project selection, scope, definition, and performance to ensure alignment with business strategy.
- Train team members on new processes and ensure effective communication of change.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
- Knowledge of cloud computing services or deployment architecture.
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.
- Experience with agile or other program management methodologies.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $157,900 - $213,600 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
