Strategic Sourcing Manager IT
About the role
The Strategic Sourcing Manager for IT plays a crucial role in driving business results by partnering with various departments to manage sourcing events, contracts, and the procure-to-pay process.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex sourcing events including RFIs, RFPs, and competitive bids
- Establish contracts and relationships with new suppliers
- Manage renewals and extensions with existing suppliers
- Collaborate with stakeholders to navigate the procure-to-pay process
- Execute sourcing strategies to enhance value, revenue, and cost reduction
- Lead supplier selection, contract negotiation, and contracting process
- Provide stakeholders with best-in-class service throughout the sourcing process
- Act as liaison between Staples legal, risk, privacy, and cyber security teams and suppliers

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and sourcing
- Proficiency in procurement systems such as Coupa
- Demonstrated ability to generate cost reduction savings
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a technology role
- Masters Degree in related field

Schedule
