Strategic Sourcing Manager - Hospitality Room Supplies- REMOTE

About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to support Rooms Amenities. This position is responsible for managing supplier relationships and contracts, and supporting customer programs. The Manager will plan and execute initiatives to create successful contracts that meet customer needs and generate value or cost savings, adjusting processes as needed for efficiency. They will collaborate with the Rooms Amenities team to support the overall category strategy, oversee assigned contracts, and ensure suppliers meet commitments while staying competitive with market changes. The role involves working with internal stakeholders to implement contracts and new products, and may include direct interaction with customers, requiring a strong customer service mindset and the ability to act as a trusted consultant.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management, and category strategy for hotel guest-room amenities and personal-care products.
• Develop supplier negotiation and pricing strategies for supplier agreements.
• Collect, organize, and analyze purchasing data to identify opportunities and measure contract successes, summarizing findings for stakeholders.
• Plan sourcing initiatives in accordance with industry best practices and company standards.
• Manage annual plans by creating timelines, meeting milestones, and providing status updates.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring contractual commitments are met while driving program growth.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders on sourcing activities and projects.
• Implement client development teams for initiatives, identifying participants, soliciting input, and running meetings.
• Manage a portfolio of contracts and suppliers, keeping information up to date.
• Lead presentations to internal and external teams and suppliers.
• Focus on delivering product savings, category growth, and enhancing overall enterprise value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include supply chain, project management, business, economics, or related areas.
• At least 5 years of experience using Excel for large data set analysis, PivotTables, and cost comparison models.
• At least 3 years of experience negotiating and managing vendor supply contracts.
• At least 3 years of experience managing 3 or more simultaneous sourcing projects, including RFPs.
• Ability to travel 10%–15% of the time.
• Preferred experience in amenities/personal care product category and/or strategic sourcing.
• Strong data analysis skills, with experience performing in-depth analysis and converting findings into actionable steps.
• Strong technical sourcing process and contracting knowledge.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and process orientation.

Experience Requirements

5–10 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, contracting, supply chain optimization, category management, business management, or management consulting, including the minimum contract negotiation and simultaneous sourcing project experience stated above.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include supply chain, project management, business, economics, or related areas.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $88,500–$110,000.
