About the role

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will lead procurement strategy and execution for high-value technology, cloud, SaaS, AI, data, and service contracts supporting Solventum healthcare software and revenue cycle management operations. You will partner across Product, Engineering, Legal, Privacy, Security, Compliance, Finance, and Operations to deliver savings, reduce risk, and enable business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies across cloud infrastructure, SaaS, AI/ML services, data licensing, clearinghouse connectivity, and professional services.
• Lead complex RFx activities, supplier evaluations, commercial assessments, and sourcing recommendations.
• Negotiate multi-year, high-value technology agreements with strong commercial, service-level, privacy, and security protections.
• Drive year-over-year savings, vendor optimization, spend management, and total cost of ownership improvements.
• Establish supplier governance, scorecards, business reviews, and risk mitigation programs.
• Partner with business leaders to establish sourcing priorities and strategic direction.
• Provide leadership, coaching, development, and performance management for assigned sourcing personnel.
• Establish priorities, allocate resources, and ensure achievement of sourcing and business objectives across assigned categories.
• Manage sourcing-related budgets and savings targets while ensuring compliance with corporate procurement policies and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance sourcing efficiency, supplier performance, and organizational competitiveness.
• Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards while performing assigned duties.

Onboarding Requirement

New employees hired for this position with a start date of October 1st, 2025 or later will be required to travel to a designated company location for on-site onboarding during their initial days of employment. Travel arrangements and related expenses will be coordinated and paid for by the company in accordance with its travel policy. This requirement applies to US applicants only.

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $163,200 - $224,400, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors including relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.
