Strategic Sourcing II / Senior
About the role
The Strategic Sourcing Buyer II or Senior Strategic Sourcing Buyer will play a crucial part in shaping the global supply chain at Legend Brands. This role involves developing sourcing strategies, identifying and evaluating new suppliers, negotiating agreements, and supporting new product development.
Responsibilities
Develop sourcing strategies that improve cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers across domestic and global markets.
Negotiate supplier agreements and commercial terms that create long-term value.
Partner with Engineering and Product Management to source components for new product development.
Build Bills of Material by working with suppliers to determine pricing, lead times, tooling costs, and manufacturing capabilities.
Analyze supplier performance and procurement data to uncover opportunities for improvement.
Support supplier quality initiatives alongside our Quality team.
Present sourcing recommendations and project updates to leadership.
Help strengthen procurement processes that scale with a growing manufacturing organization.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
5-10+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience in manufacturing.
Experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing supplier relationships.
Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft D365 is a plus).
Experience supporting new product development or engineering teams is highly desirable.

Senior Strategic Sourcing Buyer: $93,000–$105,000
