About the role

The Strategy Sourcing Manager II leads major category sourcing initiatives and portfolios, executing the sourcing mandate for assigned portfolios. This role supports the development and execution of category and sourcing strategies, manages supplier negotiations, and advises on complex trade-offs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of category and sourcing strategies for complex portfolios or multiple related initiatives.
  • Manage supplier negotiations and commercial decision-making for assigned categories or initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives within and across portfolios, providing subject matter expertise on complex sourcing, commercial, or risk-related matters.
  • Communicate proactively and transparently with team members, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring alignment on priorities, progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Advise on complex trade-offs across commercial, risk, and stakeholder considerations.
  • Drive sourcing outcomes across portfolios with material impact.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education and 7+ years of related experience.
  • Substantial knowledge of Sourcing and procurement, or broader related areas.
  • Experience in leading complex sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations.
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Highly seasoned professional role requiring substantial knowledge of Sourcing and procurement and/or knowledge of broader related areas.
  • Experience in leading major category sourcing initiatives and portfolios.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and execute successful negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of procurement policies, controls, and risk requirements.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional sourcing initiatives.
  • Ability to provide guidance on Sourcing/outsourcing best practices.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

$91,000 - $136,240 USD

Schedule
