Strategic Solutions Manager
About the role
The Strategic Solutions Manager serves as a strategic advisor for enterprise supply chain and logistics solutions. This role maps customer operations, recommends future-state distribution strategies, and identifies opportunities related to network optimization, technology integrations, automation, facility placement, service enhancements, and customer share-of-wallet growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise supply chain discovery: Facilitate strategic discovery sessions, map current-state and future-state supply chains, and identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve service, simplify operations, and increase customer value.
- Develop quantified solution recommendations: Build customer-specific business cases, ROI analyses, financial models, whitepapers, and PowerPoint proposals that communicate operational improvements and financial benefits.
- Design network and distribution strategies: Evaluate customer distribution networks against OnTrac’s network and recommend fulfillment locations, injection strategies, transportation flows, facility placement, regional distribution models, and cross-dock opportunities.
- Enable technology and integration solutions: Translate business needs into functional requirements, identify integration/reporting/workflow gaps, and recommend automation or technology enhancements that improve scalability and customer experience.
- Influence product and capability strategy: Identify recurring customer needs, operational gaps, and technology opportunities; partner with Product, Technology, and senior leadership to prioritize investments and inform future roadmaps.
- Engineer future-state processes: Design operational workflows, eliminate process inefficiencies, identify automation opportunities, and prepare executive-ready process maps, solution documentation, and business cases.
- Cross-functional solution development: Work across Sales, Operations, Technology, Revenue Management, Customer Experience, and Implementation to ensure solutions are feasible, commercially aligned, and ready for execution.
- Drive innovation and scalable frameworks: Research emerging supply chain technologies, leverage AI to improve analysis and documentation, and develop repeatable consulting methodologies and solution frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5–7 years in outbound demand generation, ABM, or multi-channel B2B marketing.
- Proven hands-on experience designing and executing innovative marketing programs leveraging frontier technologies, including ABM platforms (Demandbase), marketing automation tools (Salesforce Account Engagement), and personalization engines (Optimizely).
- Demonstrated use of marketing AI tools for personalization and optimization.
- Proven success managing budgets, agencies, and campaign operations.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret campaign performance data.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.

Pay
The expected starting base pay range for this position is $104,000 - $131,000, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $104,000 - $157,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
Schedule
This position may be performed remotely in states where the company is authorized to employ individuals.
