Job Description
The Strategic Solutions Executive is responsible for building a robust funnel of opportunities, driving them to closure, and ensuring alignment with relevant market commercial teams. They will build relationships and credibility with account communities and customers, and lead the market commercial team through the deal cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a robust funnel of opportunities in strategic bulk buys and long-term strategic partnerships with target customers.
- Drive identified opportunities to closure with relevant market commercial teams.
- Lead the market commercial team through the deal cycle, ensuring all necessary internal stakeholders are aligned.
- Rapidly build relationships and credibility with account communities and customers.
- Demonstrate outstanding strategic selling skills and leading execution of outcomes selling strategies: Provocation, positioning our Point of View, Qualification, Advising, and aligning customers, negotiation, and contingency planning.
- Work closely with the account communities and GM, Strategic Solutions to inform and support the shaping and piloting of new offerings.
- Mastery of new offerings structures, limitations, and flexibilities as the representative of new offerings within account communities when relevant.
- Expand sales expertise to actively represent GEHC’s entire portfolio of solutions.
- Follow all applicable GE policies, procedures, and operating mechanisms.
- Proactively participate in company initiatives depending on organizational needs and as directed by management.
- Ensure knowledge of and compliance with Quality, Regulatory, integrity, and company policies.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Multiple experiences architecting strategic, commercially successful multi-modality solutions.
- Minimum 8 years experience in healthcare industry and Imaging.
- Strong knowledge of health system operations and financial management.
- Pioneering track record of engaging with and advising senior healthcare executives.
- Organizational leadership experience – demonstrating ability to directly and indirectly lead teams and influence.
- Strong knowledge of GE Healthcare portfolio.
- 50-70% travel to support deal pursuits within US/Canada.

- Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels, functions, and regions; able to clearly communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing.
- Effective at building relationships across the organization and with customers.
- Skilled at managing conflict, and leveraging constructive conflict to bring teams and strategies together.
- Strong PC skills: experience with financial applications including Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience closing large, complex, strategic deals.
- Proven key account management and project planning skills.
- Outstanding influencing, interpersonal, and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels.
- Coping with pressure: Works productively in a pressurized environment. Keeps emotions under control during difficult situations.
- High-level presentation skills; able to present ideas to executives in a way that produces understanding and impact.
Desired Characteristics
- Deep knowledge of GE Healthcare and the products and services offered – 5+ years working in GE Healthcare (recommended not required).

- Ability to define pursuit teams and streamline teams working in support of opportunities.
- Funnel win rate.
- Demonstrated expertise in front of customers to manage conversations across the portfolio.
- Ability to lead account communities and product teams in a way that builds teamwork and camaraderie while also streamlining deal pursuits and strategies.
Pay Range
The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
