Strategic Finance Manager Our client, a proptech startup, is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to support financial planning, growth strategy, and capital-markets initiatives. Location: San Francisco, CA. The position follows a hybrid schedule, with in-office collaboration 3 days per week. Job Description: The firm operates multiple revenue streams within the platform and continues to expand its footprint through operational optimization and data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who excels in fast-paced environments, enjoys complex financial modeling, and can partner closely with executive leadership. Responsibilities: Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, maintaining forward-looking financial models and reporting frameworksDeliver analyses and insights for executive leadership to support strategic decision-making and board-level discussionsSupport capital markets initiatives, including relationship management, fundraising preparation, and due diligence activitiesPartner cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, and go-to-market teams to evaluate new initiatives, model unit economics, and guide resource allocationDevelop dashboards and reporting tools to track business performance and key financial metricsProvide financial recommendations informed by a deep understanding of the company's products, services, and business modelPrepare clear, concise presentations and analyses for internal stakeholdersSupport ad hoc financial projects, strategic reviews, and business case developmentCollaborate frequently with senior leaders, providing monthly reporting and analysis Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, STEM, or related field4-6 years of experience in investment banking or corporate financeStrong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel proficiencyAbility to communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesComfort level interacting with senior executives and external stakeholdersHighly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentExperience with financial systems and analytics tools is a plus Compensation: Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to: The individual's skill sets, experience, and training;Licensure and certifications; Office location and other geographic considerations; Other business and organizational needs.
