What You'll Do

  • Own and evolve Rhoda's core financial model across planning cycles, scenario analysis, and board-facing presentations
  • Build scalable FP&A processes from scratch including budget cycles, variance reporting, and forecasting cadences
  • Partner with engineering, hardware, operations, and sales leadership to bring financial rigor to strategic decisions
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance scalability, forecast precision, and data visibility
  • Conduct ad hoc strategic and financial analysis to support executive decision-making on high-priority initiatives

Capital Markets and Investor Relations

  • Support capital markets activity including fundraising preparation, data room management, cap table analysis, and institutional investor diligence requests
  • Maintain and update cap table models, option pool analysis, and dilution scenarios in partnership with outside counsel
  • Support investor relations including managing LP information requests, preparing board materials, and maintaining reporting cadences with institutional investors

Commercial Finance and Revenue Infrastructure

  • Build the financial infrastructure for Rhoda's first commercial deployments including contract economics, revenue recognition frameworks, unit economics reporting, and gross margin analysis
  • Run competitive vendor procurement processes and negotiations across major spend categories including GPU infrastructure and cloud services
  • Support commercial contract review and vendor agreement negotiations alongside outside counsel

What We're Looking For

  • 2-4 years of investment banking experience at a top-tier firm
  • Startup or high-growth company experience, you are comfortable operating without a playbook and in ambiguity across multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Exceptional financial modeling skills, you build models that are clean, flexible, and tell a story
  • Strong written and verbal communication, you can distill complex financial analysis into clear narratives for founders, institutional investors, and operational leaders
  • High ownership mentality, you identify what needs to be done and do it without waiting to be told
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets with strong command of financial modeling best practices

Nice To Have (But Not Required)

  • Experience with SQL or Business Intelligence tools such as Looker or Tableau
  • Prior exposure to capital markets, investor relations, or corporate development work
  • Intellectual curiosity about AI and robotics, you want to understand what we are building and why it matters

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field

Compensation Range

$170K - $215K
