Role Summary
The Finance and Operations team focuses on critical business problems with high organizational visibility. This role requires a highly analytical, strategic, communicative, and problem-solving individual who can handle ambiguity. Ideal for a former banker, investor, or startup finance operator.
What You'll Own (Core Responsibilities)
Build and own Twenty's financial model end-to-end, driving annual planning, headcount ledger, board reporting, and decision-making analytics.
Run semi-annual budgeting and ongoing headcount planning, and stand up reporting infrastructure for visibility.
Translate financials into actionable insights for leaders across the company.
Partner with the Founders and VP Finance on fundraising, building the data room, and managing diligence.
Own monthly executive updates and quarterly board reporting.
Manage systems for compensation design, offer generation, performance structure, and spend policies.
Contribute to special projects such as real estate, market research, vendor strategy, and software procurement.
Who You Are
1–5 years in investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance at a top-tier startup.
Mastery with Excel and Google Sheets, capable of building a highly legible three-statement model and layering in scenario modeling.
Detail-obsessed, formatting as a tool for cross-functional communication and sweating the small stuff.
High horsepower, diving in headfirst on various tasks from one-page memos to slide decks.
Urgent, creating your own urgency and applying first principles across finance, hiring, contracts, and operations.
Generalist by instinct, enjoying a wide problem space and refining your craft while advancing a critical mission.
In-person builder, spending your career around kind and smart people refining your craft while advancing a critical mission.
Nice to Have
Prior industry experience in software, AI, cyber, defense, or intelligence.
Ai Pilled, daily use of AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.
